CLCS Users Conference, May 17-21, 2009

"CLCS - A sure fit in uncertain times" is the theme for this year's Conference to be held in Westlake Village, California.

Timely to this theme is the opportunity to share just-completed research on national construction lending reengineering efforts underway at a number of the largest banks and several community banks.

CLCS III - Control of Defaulting Loans

Data Select is actively assisting clients with a need to utilize CLCS III for control of defaulting loans.

Non-performing, foreclosed, and REO assets are controlled on CLCS III. This functionality was developed during the Savings and Loan crisis, when CLCS III was the "system of record" for the RTC.

Data Select Systems, Inc. - 27th Anniversary 

On February 2, 2009, Data Select celebrated its 27th Anniversary.

Expertise, strength, and trust over the past 27 years have built Data Select into the company it is today.

Data Select has a large client base in the banking industry of North America, and its CLCS III  System is the standard for construction loan control. CLCS III  commands a 50% market share, servicing over $400 billion in construction loan outstandings.

CLCS III - New Release

Release 2.4 of CLCS III is being distributed to all clients (server and mainframe) that are requesting this system upgrade.

CLCS III - Website Integration

CLCS III Release 2.4 is now integrated with a bank client's Internet Portal for borrower customer service. This portal is expected to reduce servicing costs by providing near real-time access to servicing information.

CLCS III - 2009 New Business

So far in 2009, three nationwide banking organizations and one of Canada's largest bank holding companies are implementing the CLCS III System to standardize their bank-wide construction loan control.  In addition, three regional banking organizations have joined the expanding CLCS III client base.

Former CLCS Users (Alumni) continue to drive expansion of the CLCS III  client base.  

In addition to new business, current clients are expanding the use of CLCS III across their enterprises with the addition of business units, portfolios, and interfaces. A top 10 U.S. bank is in the process of migrating the remainder of its regions to CLCS III, which has been designated a corporate strategic system.

CLCS III - Oracle/MS SQL Integration 

Ten CLCS III client banks have now installed the Oracle/Microsoft SQL Integration Module.  The benefits of this integration module for CLCS III clients include near real-time information for management decision-making and website customer service.

CLCS III - Superior Rating

Once again, the CLCS III  System received a superior rating by the internal auditors of a nationwide banking organization. This rating is based on:

•   Maintainability

•   Risk management

•   Fail-safe transaction  processing
